Film Advertising – what a beast! So here we are….The night after my experience watching “The Changeling”……Ange is a absolute goddess and Clint is at his best! Love those 192o’s hats and all that red lipstick. But to be quite honest…..wasn’t expecting to be quite so challenged emotionally. That’s not Hollywood’s job now is it ? No, their job is to bring in the big bucks……that’s what Film Advertising is all about! And aren’t we in it for pure entertainment ? Aren’t we exchanging ticket money for the promise of a thrill, a fast ride? Do we really need more of our thoughts provoked? Hmmmm…Can’t say that I was entertained….more left dry in the mouth, with fear creeping in…..and the need to check up on the kids more than once before bed. See it….you’ll know what I mean! Rest assured that the Film advertising I’ll do for you will be of the genuine “couch potatoe” type……Enjoy!

Great entry.. Would love to hear more about other films. Needless to say though, a lot of films are more for financial gain. Transformers 2 was a let down, but fulfilled the main objective of Hollywood films. Maybe that’s why Slumdog Millionaire did so well in the Academy Awards, because of it’s difference from Hollywood?

I agree that Transformers was a let down but judging from audience reactions, I don’t think they really want anything deep and meaningful! Interesting that ‘Slumdog’ hasn’t done as well in Bollywood….No reality reminders please!
I’ve recently seen The Constant Gardener….an oldie but definitely a watcher! Question – Are the Aid workers in Africa just as corrupt as the American Drug Companies…..absolute giants!
Interested in seeing The Secret Life of Bees….next on the agenda.

Hopefully the film will live up to the book, there have been some terrible adaptations.
